POLICIES AT J&S EQUINE

In today’s online shopping market, we believe that honesty is the best policy. That’s why we designed the most generous, fair and transparent store policy for our customers. TRIAL POLICY

J & S Equine – Saddle Trial Information & Policy 

It is our pleasure to allow you, as our valued customer, the opportunity to take the saddle you have selected on trial before purchasing.

Trial Saddle:  Year, Brand, Model, Serial#, Seat & flap                                                                      

A few things we would like to ask you to follow during your trial period. 

-Please DO NOT CLEAN or oil the saddle (New or used) 

-Protect the saddle from stirrup leather marks by using soft calfskin leathers (no synthetic material please). 

-Keep the saddle covered and protected at all times possible. 

-Please do not leave the saddle in the barn/tack room or your vehicle. 

-For double flaps, please ensure the billet guards cover the girth buckles (if applicable).

-Please do not wear jeans while riding in the saddle. 

You are responsible for the saddle while it is in your care. All used saddles are sold as-is. 

As we, J & S Equine, are not the manufacturer we cannot offer a guarantee/warranty. You are responsible for any damage that may occur while the saddle is in your possession or during return shipment. Saddles returned with excessive wear will be charged a damage fee (TBD) equal to the amount by which we would have to discount the price. 

 

Your trial begins the day you receive the saddle. It is your responsibility to let us know by the end of your 4th-day trial period if you plan to return the saddle. If we do not hear from you by 5:00p CST on the 4th day the saddle is considered sold. 

 

Should you return the saddle you will be refunded within 3-5 business days, less a restocking fee of $75.00, which is non-refundable. If you return the saddle via shipping, we require a traceable carrier such as UPS/FedEx. Please save the original box and packing materials (bubble wrap) to ensure the entire saddle is properly packed for transit. Shipping insurance is required! 

*A damage fee will be assessed if a saddle has been damaged during return transit* 

*All returned saddles are subject to a restocking fee of $75.00* 

SHIPPING POLICY

Depending on your location we will ship either UPS or FedX Ground with insurance. Buyer is always responsible for shipping costs which will include insurance. Tracking information is always provided to you once saddle/tack has been shipped. 

RETURN POLICY

Should you return the saddle you will be refunded within 3-5 business days, less any shipping and saddlery charges (if applicable), which are non-refundable. Should you decide to return the saddle, please return it via a traceable carrier, UPS/FedEx is preferred and please use bubble wrap to wrap the entire saddle for transit. Shipping insurance is required. A damage fee will be assessed if a saddle has been damaged during return transit.
